This link (above) will transport you to Boston.com, where you can view 30 generously-sized photos of people across the USA, taken during the early to mid 1970’s.   The Beatles had just broken up, gasoline was still under $1/gallon, nobody owned their own computer and if you had to telephone someone you either went home or you found a pay phone (usually in the nearest restaurant or drug store…)
